Our society has held the view for too long that once an individual is disabled, he has automatically been sentenced to a life of sympathy and poverty, and sometimes they are often ostracized. In some African communities, a disabled person is believed to have been cursed by the gods. This is as a result of the ignorance of the people and strange erroneous believes; Over time, this has been completely proven wrong.

The psychological impact of the effect of being disabled could be overwhelming for some of these individuals who suffer one form of disability or the other, because they are often belitted and every attempt to make progress, the society reminds them of their disability instead of strength.
